When I fall asleep at night, 
I pray for you with all my might
Please, oh Lord, be with my friend
Stay with her until the end. 

Keep a roof above her head
Bring her home when she is dead
Please keep food upon her table
Keep her body strong and able

Make her happy, make her smile
Let her know that her life's worth while
Take her worries and her fears
Make her troubles disappear

When she wonders what to do
Take her hand and guide her through.
