#87 Save the Last Dance

A girl's first dance
Is the best day of her life
New dress, new shoes
An entire new look.

The music makes you want to move
But you don't quite know how
After a while though, you'll get in the mood
And no one will be able to stop you.

You get up the courage
To ask him to dance
But he says no, and walks away.
All you can do is cry.

But you pull yourself together
Cause this one's for the girls!
You dance like no one's watching
And try not to look too closely at him.

And fifteen minutes to the end
You ask him one more time
And he holds you and your hands sweat
But it's the best moment of your life.

And then the song ends and you dance in the rain
Cause that's the right thing to do.
He said no at first, but only because
He was saving the last dance for you.
