In the beginning
Before there was you
My life was a dark abyss 
Of empty nothingness.
And God said, 
"Let there be light!" 
And there was light. 
And that was the first day 
Of the rest of my life.
So let us live
And never die
As the sun rises 
IN the east
Let there be light.
