My heart is longing 
For the light of the moon
My soul is yearning 
For the dawn of the day 
My tears flow down a river 
Of broken dreams
I knew in my heart that nothing 
Is ever what it seems
And yet I cry for a love
That was lost to the sky
And my soul burns in the night 
Even as my heart is yearning 
For the light of the sun
My soul is burning. 
In the night.
