All I want is someone 
To laugh and cry with
Someone to share my successes 
And to help me learn from my failures 
All I want is someone 
To share my poetry with. 

All I want is someone to hold in my arms
And to wipe their tears away with a kiss
A special little someone, indeed
A precious little someone 
All I want is a little baby
That I can call my own. 

All I want is to know 
That you'll be alright
That Someone will take care of you
That you'll always be alive
All I want is for you to go 
To heaven when you die. 

But right now all I want
Is to be swept off my feet
By someone who will watch a sunset 
Or bring my song back to me
All I want is someone 
To share my poetry with.
