It’s Kind of A Funny Story
But it’s not your story to tell
Even though you want to know
Exactly how I fell.
It’s not something that I wanted
Or something that I chose
It’s something that just happened
Right under my nose
Never underestimate
An unrequited love
You will pay for the day
You sent out that dove
It never came back, you know
You thought you were so sly
It flew around until it found
Every little lie
You can act all innocent
Like it’s not the story you wrote
So let’s see how cleverly
You tell it with no throat.
