Do not all people a single species make?
Yet one claims sovereign over all others
Plucking them from personhood Rendering them slave under another
Can a single colour one whole person make?
Was it not such division that rendered one a slave and one a master?
What can be told from the skins colour?
What renders one colour above another?
A rainbow lies within each soul
Not one colour upon the skin of each
Yet why in the eye of the mind Is only one story told in the hue of the skin?
