I am Who I Am

What is normal, anyway?

How do I know if I am, or not?

If everyone is special

Can I pick normal from a crowd?

Would normal mean mediocre?

Not too high, not too low

But I like shooting for the stars!

I want to go higher than I can

I don’t want to be mediocre

I want to be seen in a crown

I am who I am, not who I will be

And I can do what I want, what I will

I will be more than average

I guess I can’t be normal

But I am I who I am

So if normal means mediocre

I don’t want to be normal after all.
